This thread will try to report on orders and other significant orders during the show.
Day 1's major non-order announcements were by the British Government. The British Government will invest up to £2bn for R&D towards a new fighter aircraft, to be named the Tempest (harking back to the way the Hawker Tempest came after the Typhoon) - the aircraft will be developed with MDBA, Leonardo The British Government will also invest £31million to support the development of a spaceport in Sutherland, Scotland with the aim of being operational in the next decade.
Cornwall is also aiming for space work, with an agreement to partner with Virgin Orbital for launch activities from Newquay Airport (the once St. Mawgan airbase).

Macquarie AirFinance Group 20 A320neo Wataniya Airways 25 A320neo/321neo Goshawk Aviation 20 A320neo Sichuan Airlines 10 A350-900 plus intentions from an undisclosed leasing company for 80 A320neo and VISTARA for 13 A320neo, and STARLUX Airlines for 17 A350 XWBs (12 A350-1000 and 5 350-900); Salamir of Oman also plan to operate 6 A320neo, 5 from leasing companies

Day 2 - Tuesday July 17th
A major announcement today was the intention of Air Nostrum of Spain and CityJet of Ireland to join together under a common holding company. They are hoping to get the relevant approvals and close the deal by the end of the year.

Day 3 - Wednesday July 18th
No major announcements today, other than that a new flag carrier, Nigeria Air plans to launch by the end of the year.
This new airline "Undisclosed Customer" will have a very large fleet!

Day 4 - Thursday July 19th
For the final business day, we had the arrival of the very colourful Hi Fly A380, promoting a campaign to Save The Coral Seas. Airbus also beamed live footage of the first flight of the A330-based Beluga XL from Toulouse.
On the orders front another batch of orders for that familiar name.

And finally the award for Best Presentation goes to Bombardier for their launch of the new "Atmosphere" interior for the CRJ, complete with electro-dancers and show-biz style interviews. The best hospitality award goes to Leonardo, for their friendly approach and lovely Mediterranean style food.
