Our next meeting, to be held on Tuesday 25th September is an
illustrated talk by Stuart Powney (well-known in the Midlands area for
his work at Atlantic Airlines and before that Air Atlantique). His
topic is the World War I battlefields and the aircraft that fought in
the skies above them.
Our meeting place is the Great Wyrley Sports and Social Club Walsall
Road, Great Wyrley Staffs, on the A34 a mile south of the M6 Toll and
A5 junction at Cannock Post code for the venue is WS6 6DP. Air-minded
visitors always welcome. Starting time is 7.45 pm

photographic show by branch member John Owen, whose pictures are quite
exceptional.
