( I put this on AB-IX earlier and add it here to hit a wider audience - with a bit more on NC19380) Looking at early US Marks as a break from the daily chore of looking a US Changes I found in FAA material WACO AVN-8 serial 5110 (Jacobs L-6 engine 1526) with US marks NC2276 manufactured May 1938 (application A-73711) cancelled using export card E-4784. Now E-4784 says NC2276 was exported to British Air Ministry London, England. P6330 was delivered March 1939 and is described as a WACO ZVN in Jim Halley's P series and AVN in 2002 A-B Flight Testing book I have not found a c/n for P6330 or a previous identity In the past in Digest 1997 AVN-8 c/n 5101 NC19380 has been queried but there is no export card as far as I can see, and it was sold to DF Richards 134 8th st Idaho Falls ID, so the Air Ministry reference makes me think - can 2+2=4 and P6330 was c/n 5110 NC2276? Can anyone support, or eliminate, this suggestion Barrie Barrie@air-britain.com US Register Editor
