Ian, Many thanks for the note. Under the "make life easier for the members" heading, would it be possible to include a link to the relevant area in future please? Having Googled the website and dug around, they are: AEROMILITARIA - Crashes in Wales and West Midlands 1914-2018 air-britain.com/web/ab-aeromilitaria/RESEARCHERS CORNER - Index of parachute jumps in Canada and Newfoundland 1927 - 1945 www.ab-ix.co.uk/firstfiles.htmlAndy

Also, it should be noted that despite these crash files being in the Aeromilitaria section, they do cover civil registered crashes in the areas covered.

I do not include a direct link to the articles as (apart from Researchers Corner) they sit in the password protected Members Area, so any link could only be to the log in page as free access without secure log in is not permitted. If you use the address quoted in your message, you will only be taken to the log in page not the article itself However access to the Members Area log on page is straightforward. From the home page (www.Air-Britain.com). select the big blue "Members Only" button, and that will take you straight to the log in page. Log in and you have access to any and all files that are there. For Aeromilitaria simply select it from the drop down menu on the "Members" tab. Regards Ian

Geoff That page is now redundant and out of use as all of the data behind that old address was migrated to the secure log on area in the Members only section of the new web site at the start of the year. .... It will be deleted at some stage in the near future Regards Ian

The research document covers both military and civil incidents and so it was considered acceptable for it to be placed within the Aeromilitaria section. Regards Ian

If you use the address quoted in your message, you will only be taken to the log in page not the article itself Ian, That depends on whether you stay logged-in or not. I do, so hitting my link takes me directly to the article... Andy

Correct. And even if you're not already logged in, including a link (whether it takes you to the actual article or just the log-in page), saves you having to open a new tab/window for the AB homepage (which may or may not be saved as a bookmark etc, and which also assumes you know that this is where the Members area is - not everyone does, by any means), then clicking the Members Only button etc etc… 'Make life easier for the Members'. Just include a direct link. Please....
