Welcome to the Air-Britain Message Board.
This is open to all current members of Air-Britain to post to the various threads. For our guests, please feel free to read as much as you like but you will not be able to post to the message board.
We have to have some rules to keep this a pleasant board to visit for everybody. Please read them carefully before you post anything. The contact point for the Administration team is abforum@air-britain.co.uk
A. General
1. The rules and decisions made by the Air-Britain Administration Team and other Moderators are non-negotiable. You are always welcome to suggest some change, but we set the rules for the benefit of the wider user community, not individuals.
2. Although we try to read everything which is posted on this Message Board as soon as possible, we do have a life besides this board. So please be patient when we do not react instantly on all incidents in the forums. Please send us a private message when you notice any irregularity.
B. Register and cookies
1. We have the policy you have to register with a valid email address which can be related to your Air-Britain membership before posting on this Message Board. This address is only used for our administration and to make sure you are an Air-Britain member. The Air-Britain Privacy Policy (available on Air-Britain.com) sets out the way we use your data and we do not disclose this to third parties. As long as you are not registered, you will only be able to read the forums we have, but you are not permitted to post new messages.
2. Cookies; for browsing and posting on this Message Board, you have to allow so called cookies. These cookies are ONLY used for identifying you while browsing through these forums on this current session, so you do not have to log in every time. They will not be used for any other purposes.
3. You are obliged to keep your e-mail address and Air-Britain membership current to be able to post. Failing to do so will result in your account being disabled or even deleted.
C. Postings
1. All posts have to be in English. Postings which do not comply with this rule will be deleted.
2. Please do not use codes, such as airport codes, in the subject line, but spell out the relevant name / location in full. Always explain acronyms on at least their first use in any posting.
3. Please ensure that your new topics are in the correct forum. As the number of forums will grow over time, you might find one which suits you.
If you have a suggestion for a new forum, please let us know. We reserve the right to move posts to a more correct thread where appropriate.
4. Try to be as accurate as possible in your subject line. As many visitors will only have a look at your posting if the subject appeals to them, this is also in your interest. Do not hijack a subject for something different – in that case start a new subject thread.
5. Please do not use obscure or large fonts. We also want to keep the use of emoticons to a minimum.
6. Please beware of the language you use; swearing, personal insults, flaming and the like will NOT be allowed. Please keep the discussions to matters relating to aviation. Violation may result in you being banned from this Message Board without any warnings. This at the discretion of the Administrators at this Board.
7. Any advertisements aimed at selling items or services will be deleted.
8. Do not post complaints about other postings or users on this Board, but send a private message to the Administrators.
9. Do not post requests about the usage of this Board, either technical or about the contents, in the forums, but send them directly to the Administrators. We are always glad to help!
10. Copyright content. When using content of an article, website or other media that hold copyright you are obliged to display the location link in the post.
Please have a good time on this Message Board.
Regards,
The Admin Team
