I am trying to find out the serials of 2 x HMX-1 VH-3D's that visited Brize Norton during President Clinton's visit to the UK in June 1994. 4 were in the UK at the time (159352,159353.159354 & 159359).Does anyone know which 2 visited Brize Norton?. I have tried searching on the internet, but can not find anything about which 2 visited Brize Norton. I have been trying to find this out for the last 25 years , but have not had any luck.
Thanks

With apologies for the delay in posting this, there was a response from non-member Michael Maixner on this, as below. Thanks for his response. Two photographs of Marine 1 are attached--I'm not sure if the gent who posted the above blog note will be able to use them, but they be of some use. If he's able to make use of them, please let me know! As I mentioned, I was an assistant naval attache at the American embassy--many of my fellow staff members and I went to Brize-Norton to greet the Clintons on 8 June 1994 after their participation in the ceremonies associated with the 50th Anniversary of D-Day. Following their brief stop at Brize-Norton, they headed off for their next commitment, still in Europe, but I can't remember precisely what or when it was. All the best, Mike Michael R.
