From 'biafranbaby' (Mike) a couple of months ago... 'while on Heathrow movements, I am told that Canberra PR.7 WT528 'Aries V' visited Heathrow in 1959. Don't know a precise date or the reason for its visit but the last known round-the-world flight for this aircraft was a year beforehand.'...any ideas, anyone? No details for this splendid RB-57 photo...is that a big highway on the left or a reflection in a window? And less exotically this PR.3 took the Coronation images to Canada in 1953 from Heathrow B-57A B-57B (And not near Heathrow) 3d Bombardment Group Martin B-57C "Canberra" (sn 53-836) by Mount Fuji. by Robert Sullivan, on Flickr B-57C near Mt Fuji, Japan Canberra T.4 WJ874 painted as the prototype VN799 in 2005 WJ764 VX185 A84-201 Heathrow 1953 for the New Zealand race WH773 Heathrow 1953 for the New Zealand race XH135 Wyton Canberra 40th Anniversary 12May1989 WJ607? Thanks...sadly the second half year is very patchy and it doesn't seem to list any military movements. (We were solemnly warned by John WR Taylor in Civil Aircraft Markings not to log military aircraft :-) )
