Hi guys
Thumbing through my CAM 2019, I notice a fair number of old airliners still listed as extant in non-flying condition which have been consigned to scrap for some time.
Examples being G-ARPK Trident 1C, G-APMB Comet 4B. I may send an email to Crecy publishing in due course although I suspect they will continue to be shown for another ten years!
Does anyone know the current location at Luton Airport of Britannia hulk G-AOVS?
Despite being a spotter since November, 1976, this is one vintage airliner that has alluded me all these years.
I note on the Linkedin website that the Fire Service moved her about four months ago to a new location from her long-established position by the Fire Station to enable building work to commence.
I would like to see if I can spot her on my next visit to Luton in October (hopefully she won't have been broken up by then).
If any one knows where she is now positioned and if she is visible from any public roads around the perimeter, please could they kindly let me know by replying to this post.
Many thanks
