Can anyone explain the difference between the J/5 and J/5A? One is tempted to assume it was a J/5 modified into a 4-seater by fitting a bench-type rear seat, like the J/1A.
Secondly, can anyone explain the use of the name Adventurer. Many sources refer to this as being the Australian marketing name for the J/5, but is this correct? Or should all J/5's be Adventurers? “Auster Production Histories” refers to all J/5's as just that, with neither Autocrat of Adventurer mentioned.
