Hi
Is there a time scale when the files on the various A-B sites will all be in one place ?
The system we have now is really chaotic, unless you have some idea where the file might be, its almost impossible to find it.
There is a lot of very useful info, that many people don't know is there. Another thing is that a lot of files are quite old and have not been updated, so are they still of some use ?
Another problem is that there is a lot of different formats, some of which cannot be opened. I created a file of UK ICAO indicators which I sent in Open Office format, but in the groups.io files is in Microsoft Office which I cannot open. There is a CSV version of it but the formatting is not good. So I cannot read my own file.
Would it be possible to convert all the files to a format that everybody can use. What is the point of a file if you cannot use it.
Kind regards

The structure of the new design is complete and a number of issues of Aeromilitaria and Archive are being loaded, followed by some civil registers and production lists.
However this has been delayed by resource being diverted to trying to find the cause of the problems with the sales website and getting that working.
As to the age of files, we can only put up what we are given. We are trying to contact the original authors, to both find out if there is a newer version and also whether or not they are willing to have the files open to the public or just to members.
As to format, we do not impose any particular format and will take whatever the author gives us. As to a format that everybody could use, recent discussions elsewhere show that certain members are wedded to one format or another and some cannot cope with different programs.
