Something that you may wish to support A petition has been launched to fight a proposal to demolish the historic building at Woodley near Reading where the Miles Aircraft Company had its Headquarters in the 1930s and 40s, situated by the historic airfield/factory where over 6,000 aircraft were built, ending with the Handley Page Herald. See the link below for more details and some facts about the historic site at Woodley, which has a remarkably good aircraft museum open to the public. Would you please sign and promote as widely as you can in the next month or so – also comment if you wish but that’s not compulsory , and then let others know asap. www.change.org/SaveHistoricMilesAircraftHeadquartersInWoodley Please help to save what little is left of Britain’s aviation heritage.
