Hi all
I wonder whether anybody can point me in the right direction to find out what equipment would have been used by Deutsche Luft Hansa in 1939 on flights from Croydon to Germany, and to which destinations, and what equipment would have been used on domestic routes at that time?
Any suggestions gratefully received.

For Lufthansa services to Croydon, I suggest you try to get "Croydon Airport 1928-1939" by Douglas Cluett, Joanna Nash and Bob Learmonth, which was published by London Borough of Sutton Libraries & Arts Services in 1980. Perhaps Malcolm Fillmore has one in stock. Also check www.flightglobal.com/pdfarchive/ - for stories that appeared in Flight. Geoffrey Negus
