I am delighted to announce that the 2022 A-B Fly-In will be held at White Waltham Airfield, near Maidenhead, in partnership with the West London Aero Club (WLAC). We last held our Fly-In at White Waltham in 1992 and it was there that the idea to form the Aeronca Club of GB emerged. We are delighted that The Aeronca Club will be supporting us again 30 years later. In addition a number of American aircraft are marking milestones from their first flight including the Luscombe 8 and Piper J3 Cub, both first flew 85 years ago, the Piper PA15 Vagabond 75 years ago and Cessna 180 70years ago. We hope such types will join us, alongside a variety of historic and more modern aircraft. The Air-Britain sales stand will be present along with other sales and exhibition vendors to tempt you. WLAC's bar and cafe will be open to all. Full details and updates can be found on our website air-britain.com/web/flyin/![]() Phil Kemp Fly-In Director ![]() ![]() ![]()

Barrie There will be no on-site tents (except for visiting pilots) or caravans. There may space for a small number of motorhomes but this will depend on ground conditions, as there is very limited hardstanding. Watch out on the website Latest News page for updates.

With the event is now rapidly approaching here is a quick update
Visiting aircraft are now increasingly making their PPR booking direct to White Waltham, so I do not have exact details, but I can say that we already have: - at least 12 Luscombes are booked in - Numerous Aeroncas, including a C3 from Cornwall, are planning to attend - The Navy Wings Stinson has confirmed attendance on Saturday - At least one Piper Cub from Belgium hopes to make it
Obviously all the above are weather and serviceability on the dependent
We are planning for access to the visiting aircraft park, but there will be no access to the residents parking areas or hangars.
As always we are dependent on volunteers to make the event work and it is never too late to offer help!
