Milton Keynes Aviation Society presents “My Avro 504L restoration” by Geoffrey New - Tuesday November 8th
Geoffrey New owns a unique Avro 504L – the UK’s earliest remaining commercial aircraft. Tonight he tells the story of the restoration of G-EASD, originally built in March 1920 and flown commercially until December 1927. Geoffrey is fortunate to possess the original airframe and Le Rhone 110 rotary engine.
Venue: Kents Hill Community Centre, Frithwood Crescent, Kents Hill, Milton Keynes, MK7 6HQ. Doors open at 7.30 p.m. and lecture begins at 8.00 p.m.
Visitors are very welcome - £5.00 per head.
