Air-Britain Manchester Branch May Meeting

For our May Branch Meeting on Thursday 11th May we will have Squadron Leader Rick Lipscomb as our speaker. Rick joined the RAF in 1984 as an avionics apprentice and has worked on various aircraft types The main topic of his talk to us will be the Heritage Team which Rick joined in 2016. This has a varied role in ensuring the RAF's history and contribution to the nation is preserved. This includes the gifting of retired aircraft to the museum sector, gate guardians, giving support to squadrons closing and reforming and preserving historical artefacts, artwork and medals. Meeting at our usual venue, the Avril Heritage Museum commencing at 1330hrs, all are welcome to attend
