Milton Keynes Aviation Society presents a talk by Richard Kornicki on The Polish Air Force in the West.Chairman of the Polish Air Force Memorial Committee, Richard Kornicki CBE, gives an account of the Polish Air Force in the West, covering its origin in 1918, its contribution during the Second World War, and the fate of its airmen at the end of the war. Illustrated in part with photographs from the album of Richard’s late father, General Brygady Franciszek Kornicki, the last surviving Polish Squadron Commander whose story exemplifies that of some 20,000 members of the Polish Air Force. Venue: Kents Hill Community Centre, Frithwood Crescent, Kents Hill, Milton Keynes, MK7 6HQ.
