Air-Britain Manchester Branch Meeting

For our February meeting this Thursday 8th February, we welcome military historian and author Dr. Tony Redding who will be travelling up from Kent to be with us. The subject of Tony's lecture is 'Britain's V-Bomber Deterrent : The Threat to Destroy Moscow and Leningrad' which is based on his latest book 'V-Bombers. Tony has gone into great detail examining declassified documents of studies by Bomber Command's Operational Research Group and interviewed V-Force veterans and the outcome fills a gap in the historical record.



The Meeting is at our usual venue, Avro Heritage Museum commencing 1.30pm. As usual there is an open invitation for anyone interested to attend
