I am curious to understand why there are photos of the M.100 Student in the third book but nothing, as far as I can see, in the text?
Have I missed something?

We have had a response from Peter Amos - to remind us that the history of the Student and much much more will be in Volume 4 - which covers the aviation activities of the Miles brothers after the collapse of Miles Aircraft Limited in 1948 and up to the merger with Beagle. The Student photo was simply included in volume 3 because of the photo section on surviving Miles aircraft. Miles 4 has been delayed because Peter has recently acquired a considerable archive of information from the Miles family but hopes to complete the script this year so we would hope to be able to publish in in early 2020.
