A quick note to highlight a small discrepancy regarding Burmese Consuls. On Page 249 (military), it says that UBC.1 (ex XY-ABK) and UBC.2 (ex XY-ABI) were received c 9.49. On Page 272 (civil), it says that these two aircraft went to the UBAF in 11.49
Also, has anything more ever come to light about Burmese Oxfords? They got 15, but only these serials were known when the book was published in 2001: R6161 (18Nov48), T1101 (9Dec48), T1386 (13Oct48), V3746 (2Dec48), W6578 (19Dec48), W6638, X7135 (18Nov48), BM719 (16Dec48), ED173 (2Dec48).

[Duplicate correction to that supplied for the N-serials file] According to AIR81/5643: discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C16689741Oxford N6288 was actually lost in a mid-air collision with P1893 on 31 March 1941. The AM78 also mentions an incident on this date, in addition to the one on 21 February 1941.

[Duplicate amendment to that supplied for the L-series file] Oxford L9655 is shown as 8 SFTS, SOC 5.4.40. This strike was as a result of damage received when Spitfire L1022 of 603 Sqn landed on top of it at Montrose on 20 March 1940:Some addition discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C16471143Note the correct squadron for the Spitfire, not 503 Sqn as listed in the file.
