From the USN Airplane Serial Number Record. My copy of the record is lacking KD161 and 162, Bu Nos 14592 and 14593, meaning no acceptance or delivery dates.
KD260 to 264, BuNo 14691 to 14695 became XF2G
KD571 to KD992, 29 serials between KD571 and KD626 inclusive accepted in September 1944, 10 serials between KD968 and KD990 inclusive accepted in May 1945.
As far as the USN is concerned serials KD993 to KD999, KE100 to KE117 and KE310 to KE389 (BuNos in range between 92171 to 92585) inclusive were accepted and delivered for the British, ending in August 1945 with 38 acceptances and 41 deliveries.
The acceptance dates for the final KE and the KD serials mentioned above were

Thanks for those details Geoffrey. I have a couple of comments:
As regards KD161 and 162, in his book Ray has details of their FAA service up to June and November 1945, respectively, so their omission must be a clerical error.
Turning to the late FG-1D deliveries, it looks like many of these aircraft were still awaiting shipment at the time of the Japanese surrender and were then returned immediately to the USN. For example, 92191 (KE113) and 92386 (KE310) were returned in August and 92195 (KE117) in September. They served for many years with the training command and reserves.
